Brother Processing Is Bringing the GAS to Oneida: 2 Chainz Live, September 2nd
Brother Processing is a proud sponsor of 2 Chainz Live in Oneida on Sept 2, 2026. See how our payment processing, POS, and RezWeed cannabis brand support Indigenous cannabis business.
Brother Processing is proud to announce we’re a sponsor of one of the biggest cannabis-culture events of the year: 2 Chainz Live in Oneida, hitting the stage Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026, with special guest Peter Jackson. The show lands at 1984 Fairgrounds Rd in Southwold, Ontario — right in Oneida Nation of the Thames territory, just outside London, Ontario — and it’s all-ages. Tickets are on sale now at skiptheboxoffice.ca.
Who Is 2 Chainz?
Tauheed Epps — known to the world as 2 Chainz — has spent two decades building one of hip-hop’s most recognizable brands, from his early work with Playaz Circle to a run of platinum solo albums and a Grammy win. But music is only half the story. 2 Chainz has become one of the culture’s sharpest entrepreneurs, with ventures spanning restaurants, real estate, and media — including his own cannabis company, GAS Cannabis Co., which he launched back in 2018.
He’s been outspoken about the opportunity legal cannabis represents for Black and minority entrepreneurs, and about building brands that feel authentic rather than bolted-on. That combination — a global recording artist who’s also a working operator in the cannabis space — is exactly why this show is more than a concert. It’s a genuine intersection of music and the plant business.
Why Oneida?
Oneida Nation of the Thames is one of the largest First Nations communities in Ontario, and in recent years it’s also become a real hub of cannabis entrepreneurship. Like a number of Indigenous communities across Canada, Oneida has seen its members open dispensaries and cannabis retail operations on reserve, asserting economic self-determination and building a homegrown industry on their own terms. Bringing a national headliner like 2 Chainz to Oneida isn’t an accident — it’s a spotlight on a community that’s already doing the work, and a chance to put local cannabis businesses on the same stage as the broader industry conversation. It’s fitting that the event’s own tagline is “Good Music Brings Us Together” and “One People, One Vibe.”
Why Brother Processing Is Here
This is exactly the kind of business we exist to serve. Cannabis retailers — especially Indigenous-owned and operated ones building an industry from the ground up — have historically been shut out of mainstream banking and card processing. That’s the gap our family of companies is built to close:
• Brother Processing gives cannabis and other high-risk merchants reliable, compliant payment processing — so a dispensary can actually run like a modern business instead of a cash-only operation.
• Brother POS puts that processing inside a point-of-sale system built for dispensary counters: inventory, compliance, and payments in one place.
• RezWeed, our own cannabis brand, is proof of concept — a First Nations-rooted cannabis company operating under the same “Your Success Is Our Success” philosophy that drives everything else we do.
Sponsoring 2 Chainz Live in Oneida lets us show up in the community we serve, not just process its transactions. It’s a chance to meet dispensary owners, put faces to the brand, and celebrate an industry that’s still writing its own rules.
