Cannabidiol, aka “CBD”, is a substance that is derived from the hemp plant or from Cannabis plants that contain higher levels of CBD. The CBD is then extracted from the remaining plant matter and nearly all of the THC (a psychoactive compound that gets you “high”) is removed or reduced to a level of less than 0.5% THC. There has been extensive research done on the medical benefits of Cannabis and now that same research is being done on CBD.<\/span><\/p>\n
